This past weekend at Dora Hair Braiding in Madison, we had the absolute pleasure of creating this vibrant, multi-colored smedium knotless look for one of our lovely clients. As a mixed-race beauty with delicate, diverse hair texture, she required a careful and skilled braiding hand—and that’s exactly what we provided.
The color blend alone is a statement. These braids pop with rich tones of auburn, strawberry blond, platinum blonde, and hints of honey brown, all perfectly woven into a mid-sized knotless braid pattern. To elevate the style even further, we curled the ends to give the braids a soft, cascading finish that moves beautifully with every step.
Throughout the process, we ensured a tension-free installation, respecting her curl pattern and scalp sensitivity. Comfort is key, and we never compromise on that.
She showed up in a cozy forest green “12 Bars of Charity” crewneck that gave casual-chic energy. The sweater brought out the earthy undertones of her braids and gave us total holiday-in-the-city vibes. Her style is effortlessly cool, and the finished hair made her look like she was ready to walk straight onto a fashion set.
Capturing her from every angle—front, side, and back—we could tell she loved it. The client left glowing, literally flipping her braids as she admired them in the mirror. She even gave us a little hair toss moment in the video clip, and we were all living for it.
